This is my version of Ingres's "The Source." I have dressed the figure in garb reminiscent of the 1920's when my house was built. Instead of a jug of water she cradles a stained glass face of Clara Bow in her hands who was the world's most famous actress in that same era. Within the stained glass window I placed a mirrored reflection of the original painting as if it is facing the girl. It is a stained glass piece designed by me and created by my mother.
