My version of Gustave Klimt's painting "Judith." I have used Elizabeth Taylor as my subject and her hand rests upon a bust of Gaius Julius Caesar. On her collar is written the word Eros in ancient greek. The band across the top is an allusion to an old time movie theater curtain and the work is my reference to the 1963 motion picture Cleopatra in which she starred. My painting is hopefully a tribute to her wondrous beauty and talent.
